Store Supervisor

About the Role

Big Basket, a TATA Enterprise, is actively seeking a Store Supervisor to join their team in Chennai. This role demands strong expertise in inventory management encompassing inward receipts, outward dispatches, write-offs, and cycle counts, especially within Fruit & Vegetable and FMCG categories.

Responsibilities

• Oversee receiving, inventory control, outbound shipments, and returns processes.
• Lead and manage a workforce of 150–200 store employees along with 50–100 delivery personnel.
• Plan staff rosters, conduct training sessions, and maintain standard operating procedures and accurate records.
• Ensure exceptional customer service and adhere to service level agreements and performance metrics.
• Uphold and monitor quality standards throughout all operations.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum six months of prior experience in retail, FMCG, or e-commerce environments is mandatory.
• Strong command over English and Tamil languages.
• Effective communication skills with a presentable demeanor.
• Must hold a graduate degree.
• Must be willing to relocate to various localities in Chennai including Iyyappathangal, Gerugampakkam, Ramapuram, Mugalivakkam, Kottivakam, Mylapore, Ashok Nagar/West Mamabalam, Kilpauk, and Madhavaram.
• Retail, FMCG, or e-commerce experience are strictly required.
