Role Overview

The Steward plays a vital role in ensuring cleanliness and order throughout kitchen and food service areas. Key tasks encompass cleaning dishes, glassware, and cutlery; assisting with simple food prep; safely disposing of waste; and adhering to sanitation and safety protocols. The Steward also aids the food and beverage team by replenishing supplies, organizing work areas, and supporting banquet or restaurant operations as necessary. This is a full-time, location-based job in Chandigarh requiring flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication skills to engage professionally with colleagues and contribute to a guest-focused environment.
• Familiarity with food and beverage service practices, including basic food handling, hygiene, and kitchen procedures.
• Willingness and ability to undergo training in safety, sanitation, hotel standards, and operational guidelines.

• Physical stamina to stand for long durations, lift moderate loads, and function effectively in a bustling kitchen context.
