About the Role

As a Product IT Specialist at Sysmex Asia Pacific, you will serve as a subject matter expert for healthcare IT solutions such as HCLAB, WAM, and Laboratory Information Systems (LIS). You'll maintain a thorough understanding of these products, staying informed about updates, enhancements, regulatory shifts, and cybersecurity requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the go-to expert for HCLAB, WAM, and LIS, keeping product knowledge current and translating sophisticated technical details for various stakeholders.
  • Ensure proficiency in healthcare IT infrastructure, including system integration standards like HL7 and ASTM.
  • Lead installations, configurations, and system upgrades for healthcare software, ensuring compliance and operational excellence.
  • Deliver both pre-sales and post-sales technical support to customers and business partners, ensuring technical and business needs are met.
  • Conduct system health checks, preventive maintenance, and resolve recurring technical issues to maintain performance and reliability.
  • Manage cybersecurity documentation, respond to audits, and handle customer queries related to information security.
  • Oversee the integration and validation of new software in hospital or laboratory environments, and deliver end-user and administrator training where necessary.
  • Prepare detailed monthly activity reports and, for business trips, provide thorough post-trip summaries with actionable insights and follow-up plans.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in CRM systems and undertake additional projects assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science, or a closely related field.
  • A minimum of five years of hands-on experience in IT implementation, system support, or infrastructure management.
  • Experience in healthcare, medical devices, or medical technology is advantageous.
  • Expertise with Microsoft Windows environments (Windows 10, Windows 11), troubleshooting, and diagnostic tools.
  • Strong problem-solving attitude and attention to detail.
  • Ability to independently own issues through resolution and effectively collaborate in a team setting.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
