Key Responsibilities
- Develop robust, scalable, and well-documented software with high throughput and low latency, addressing complex algorithmic challenges.
- Partner closely with engineers, product owners, and stakeholders to design modular, reusable, and efficient solutions.
- Conduct experiments and build proof-of-concept implementations leveraging cutting-edge technologies.
- Work autonomously to analyze, diagnose, and resolve technical issues as an individual contributor.
- Troubleshoot and repair problems found in development and production environments.
- Write comprehensive unit and component tests to guarantee high-quality deliverables.
- Monitor operational software, proactively initiating improvements to ensure consistent production reliability.
- Engage actively within an agile scrum team, providing regular updates and collaboration.
Required Qualifications
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in software engineering involving analysis, design, and full software development lifecycle exposure.
- Proficiency in Java, the Spring Framework, SQL (specifically AroraDB), and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, including expertise writing complex SQL queries.
- Experience building and maintaining large-scale, high-performance distributed applications and web services.
- Familiarity with GraphQL and graph database technologies.
- Hands-on background in internet technologies and microservices architecture.
- Minimum 3 years developing cloud-native applications, ideally within AWS environments.
- Operational understanding of containerization using Docker and orchestration via Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools.
- Strong analytical capabilities and deep understanding of object-oriented programming and design principles.
Preferred Experience
- Background in commerce-related software, especially regarding product, pricing, or inventory systems.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary for this role located in Orlando, FL ranges between $111,900 and $150,000 annually. The final offer will be influenced by geographic location, skills, knowledge, experience, and internal pay equity. Additional compensation may include bonuses or long-term incentive units. Employees are also eligible for comprehensive benefits covering medical, financial, and other relevant needs.
