Role Overview

As a Software Developer at OpenText, you'll be part of a dynamic environment where artificial intelligence powers our innovations to transform work and empower digital knowledge workers. Our Portfolio business unit focuses on preserving and evolving legacy OpenText software across multiple platforms including Content Management, Process Management, Capture, and Collaboration, employing diverse technology stacks such as JAVA and Microsoft frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead product development end-to-end including design, implementation, validation, automated testing, deployment, and production support
• Produce high-quality code adhering to industry standards
• Document technical processes thoroughly
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues
• Promptly and professionally address bug fixes and client escalations
• Coordinate with Quality Development teams to review test plans and cases
• Focus on delivering client value, incorporating feedback to guide technical solutions and making decisions timely without compromising trust

Required Qualifications and Skills

• 2 to 4 years of professional software development experience
• Proficiency in frontend technologies: HTML, JavaScript, CSS
• Experience with frontend frameworks such as Angular, React, Vue, jQuery, or WPF
• Backend development skills using ASP.NET Core, ASP.NET, and RESTful services
• Programming languages: C#, WPF, C++
• Familiarity with databases including SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MySQL
• Knowledge of AI tools like GitHub Copilot
• Experience with cloud-based technologies such as AWS, GCP, Azure, SaaS, PaaS, Kubernetes, and Helm
• Continuous Integration and Deployment tools including GitLab and GitHub

Compensation: We provide a comprehensive benefits package addressing physical, emotional, and financial wellness. Salary ranges between $86,800 and $130,200 annually, subject to factors such as experience, education, location, and market standards.
