Job Purpose

This role focuses on nurturing student success by implementing the SABIS® curriculum and teaching methods to help learners realize their full academic potential.

Core Responsibilities

• Instruct classes using provided lesson plans or develop plans aligned with pacing charts to facilitate teaching via the SABIS® point system.
• Grade examinations for assigned subjects according to departmental schedules and guidelines.
• Collaborate with the Academic Quality Controller and Head of Department addressing discipline and student performance matters.
• Apply the SABIS® Point System to maintain a positive and effective learning atmosphere in classrooms.
• Administer and supervise exams, maintaining controlled test environments.
• Support students with academic challenges by offering guidance and motivation to help improve performance.
• Prepare students for external examinations by following structured revision plans including previous exam reviews, where applicable.
• Assist with various duties such as testing administration, substitute teaching, managing student logistics such as lunches and transport, and other administrative tasks as assigned by school leadership.
• Contribute to student life activities including arts, open houses, and physical education in coordination with the Student Life Coordinator.
• Participate in training sessions to deepen understanding of SABIS® methodologies and enhance student success.
• Carry out additional tasks or projects delegated by school management.

Candidate Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related discipline is required.
• Proficiency in English language communication.

• Show accountability and ownership of responsibilities.
• Possess strong communication skills.
