Role Overview

We are seeking a full-time Social Media Manager & Content Creator to lead and implement our digital presence. This role blends creative content production with strategic social media oversight, playing a pivotal role in enhancing brand visibility and driving customer engagement.

Responsibilities

• Create engaging short-form video content for Instagram and TikTok, including talking-head segments, user-generated content style clips, and footage from tours and experiences.
• Manage daily posting schedules and stay current with platform updates and trending topics.
• Serve as the on-camera representative, effectively communicating the brand's message to audiences.
• Collaborate with operations teams to capture authentic real-time content from various services.
• Monitor emerging social media trends and adapt content strategies to boost interaction and increase bookings.
• Develop and maintain detailed content calendars; participate in campaign planning for launches, partnerships, and promotions.

Requirements

• Must reside in Zanzibar or be willing to relocate.
• Comfortable and confident appearing on camera and engaging viewers via video content.
• High proficiency with Instagram and TikTok platforms.
• Preferably has experience creating content within travel, lifestyle, or hospitality sectors.
• Strong storytelling and communication skills with a clear, confident on-screen presence.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a creative capacity.
