About Crisis
Crisis is a national charity dedicated to supporting individuals experiencing homelessness. Committed to our ambitious 10-year strategy, we believe homelessness can be ended through collective effort and systemic change.
Role Overview
The Social Media Manager will lead and enhance Crisis' organic social media strategy, aiming to broaden engagement with our mission. This role involves overseeing primary social channels, and producing compelling, high-quality content to expand our audience, deepen interaction, and support fundraising, campaigning, and brand objectives.
Key Responsibilities and Approach
You will collaborate with teams across Crisis to craft impactful social content, increase our social media presence, and leverage insights and performance metrics for ongoing improvement. The role also involves shaping a consistent, long-term social media strategy integrated within our broader communication channels.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience designing and executing effective organic social media strategies across various platforms.
- Strong editorial skills with the ability to use audience analysis and data to inform content creation.
- Comprehensive knowledge of social media platforms, content types, and evolving trends.
- Experience managing online communities and moderating interactions.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with experience collaborating across teams and with external partners or agencies.

- Salary: £46,391 annually, with fixed pay scales to promote equity.
