Job description
Overview
Kaizen Global Technologies is looking for an experienced Site Scheduler proficient in Primavera P6 to assist with planning and scheduling major construction and infrastructure projects at Lobs Hole, Cooma, New South Wales. This role requires close collaboration with project stakeholders to maintain schedules aligning with milestones and delivery deadlines on site using a 14/7 work roster.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, update, and manage comprehensive construction schedules utilizing Primavera P6.
- Track actual progress compared to baseline schedules to identify any delays, slippages, and critical tasks.
- Generate look-ahead schedules along with weekly and monthly programs and progress updates for site leaders.
- Coordinate with construction teams, engineers, subcontractors, and project managers to gather information on actual progress, planned operations, and resource needs.
- Conduct critical path analyses, forecasting, and assess impacts of any changes or project delays.
Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum of five years' experience scheduling for construction, infrastructure, civil engineering, tunneling, mining, energy, or large-scale projects.
- In-depth practical knowledge of Primavera P6 software.
- Track record of designing and maintaining detailed construction schedules.
- Solid understanding of critical path methods, dependency management, baselines, schedule updates, and forecasting.
- Competency in Microsoft Excel and generating project reports.
- Excellent communication abilities and stakeholder management skills.
