Role overview
This position is responsible for leading the site end to end, covering governance, day-to-day operations, and service delivery. The role ensures that all facility services meet client expectations, operational benchmarks, safety standards, and budget goals.
Site operations management
- Oversee both technical and soft services across the facility.
- Keep services running without interruptions.
- Track operating performance and ensure adherence to required standards.
- Handle site-level escalations and resolve issues effectively.
Client relationship management
- Serve as the main contact for client representatives and stakeholders.
- Run governance discussions and periodic business reviews.
- Maintain client satisfaction by closing issues in a timely manner.
- Look for ways to improve and expand service quality.
Team leadership and people management
- Direct multiple facility teams working across different functions.
- Strengthen employee performance, engagement, and accountability.
- Make sure the site has the right staffing levels and training support.
- Encourage teamwork and a strong ownership culture.
Financial and budget management
- Control site budgets and keep operational spending within plan.
- Review invoices, validate billing, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Assist with procurement activities and contract administration.
- Maintain financial discipline and reporting accuracy.
Compliance and risk management
- Ensure the site follows statutory requirements as well as client-specific standards.
- Support health, safety, and environmental implementation and risk reduction measures.
- Keep the site audit-ready and aligned with governance expectations.
Vendor and contract management
- Monitor vendor delivery and SLA performance.
- Conduct periodic vendor performance reviews.
- Support discussions related to contract renewal and negotiations.
Reporting and governance
- Prepare MIS reports and operational dashboards.
- Participate in management review meetings.
- Share performance updates and key metrics with stakeholders.
- Track KPIs and drive continuous improvement actions.
Qualifications and experience
A bachelor’s degree in engineering, facilities management, business administration, or a related discipline is required. An MBA is preferred. The ideal candidate should have 8 to 10 years of experience in facilities management or integrated workplace management.
