Role Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Site Foreman to join our expanding Civil & Infrastructure team, playing an essential leadership role in executing projects pivotal to shaping Southeast Queensland's future. With a strong project pipeline across the Gold Coast and SEQ corridor, this role offers the chance to lead front-line activities on major civil and infrastructure projects, collaborate with a skilled team, and advance your career within a company that values its employees, communities, and the long-term impact of its work.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct and oversee daily onsite operations to ensure projects meet safety, schedule, and budget requirements.
- Coordinate tradespeople, subcontractors, and suppliers to accomplish program, quality, and safety goals.
- Track project status, identify and mitigate risks, and apply practical solutions to maintain progress.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Ensure adherence to project specifications, quality benchmarks, and legal regulations.
- Conduct site safety inspections, toolbox talks, and actively promote a robust safety culture.
- Prepare comprehensive site reports, monitor project performance, and assist in successful project delivery.
Required Experience and Skills
- Demonstrated experience as a Foreman in construction, civil infrastructure, or related project settings.
- Proven leadership capabilities to effectively manage site teams and subcontractors.
- Thorough understanding of construction processes, safety standards, and quality assurance practices.
- Competence in reading and interpreting construction drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
- Possession of relevant trade credentials or construction-related certifications.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in digital tools and construction management software, such as Procore.
- Dedication to delivering high-quality results while nurturing positive collaboration within project teams.
