Job description

Overview

We are hiring a Shift Lead for our B&Q store in Newry, Northern Ireland. This permanent role is available in full-time or part-time capacities, offering between 18.75 to 36.75 hours of work weekly. The full-time equivalent salary is £27,709.50 per year, accompanied by a pension scheme and 6.6 weeks of annual leave. As a keyholder, you will manage shifts starting as early as 6:00 AM and ending as late as 10:00 PM.

Role Purpose

As a Shift Lead, you play a critical role in maintaining a safe and productive environment for colleagues and customers alike. You will oversee daily operations, coordinate staff deployment to ensure excellent customer service, and act as the primary contact during your shift. Ensuring store safety and smooth operations will be fundamental to your role.
