About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Servicenow ITOM Technical Consultant with over 8 years of dedicated expertise in IT Operations Management (ITOM). The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of Discovery, Event Management, Service Mapping, and practical proficiency in the Common Service Data Model (CSDM) and service taxonomy. A robust understanding of network protocols such as HTTP, SNMP, SSH, and WMI is critical, alongside skills in infrastructure components including load balancers, databases, and middleware.
Certification in Certified ServiceNow System Administrator (CSA) and Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) is required to validate technical proficiency.
Responsibilities
- Implement and troubleshoot Event Management processes and Cloud Management solutions within Servicenow ITOM.
- Handle Service Mapping activities to ensure precise configuration and service visualization.
- Develop and customize using JavaScript and Glide scripting, applying regex patterns as needed.
- Leverage Flow Designer, Business Rules, Script Includes, and Reporting tools to optimize workflows and system functionality.
- Resolve AIOps related issues and improve automation in IT operations.
Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum of 8 years experience in Servicenow ITOM with specific focus on Discovery, Event Management, and Service Mapping.
- Strong hands-on experience with scripting in JavaScript, Glide Script, and regex implementation.
- Expertise in Flow Designer, Business Rules, Script Includes, and generating reports.
- Familiarity with network protocols including HTTP, SNMP, SSH, and WMI.
- Experienced in handling infrastructure components such as load balancers, databases, and middleware.
- Certifications: CSA and CIS mandatory.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates with a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech), Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in any specialization, or any graduate degree are eligible to apply.
