Job Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all mechanical construction tasks related to HVAC systems, including duct fabrication, chilled water piping, equipment setup, insulation, and related mechanical operations.
• Lead and coordinate Mechanical Supervisors, Foremen, subcontractors, and construction teams to meet project goals efficiently.
• Develop daily and weekly activity plans aligned with project timelines and construction priorities.
• Review construction blueprints, method statements, work processes, and project specifications before implementation.
• Collaborate with engineering, QA/QC, HSE, planning, procurement, scaffolding, lifting, and other involved parties to ensure seamless workflow.
• Track work progress, productivity levels, labor deployment, and material supply to adhere to project deadlines.
• Guarantee that all mechanical installations conform to project specs, relevant codes, client standards, and approved IFC drawings.
• Monitor construction quality, coordinating inspections with QA/QC teams throughout all installation phases.
• Adhere strictly to permit-to-work protocols, risk assessments, and HSE regulations on site.
• Conduct regular safety briefings, toolbox talks, and site walkthroughs to maintain a safe work environment.
• Identify challenges during construction, offer technical solutions, and implement corrective measures to reduce delays.
• Manage testing, pre-commissioning, punch list completion, and mechanical project close-out activities.
• Review and validate daily progress and manpower reports along with construction documentation accuracy.
• Assist in planning processes by spotting potential risks and suggesting mitigation strategies.
• Actively participate in coordination meetings involving clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Ensure excellent housekeeping standards, appropriate equipment use, and adherence to company and client procedures throughout the project duration.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
• Preferably trained in supervisory or construction management roles.
• Possession of HSE certifications is advantageous.
• At least 10 years of mechanical construction experience within oil & gas, petrochemical, refinery, or industrial sectors.
• Comprehensive understanding of HVAC systems, ductwork, chilled water piping, equipment installation, and support for testing and commissioning.

• Must be open to working in remote environments, including offshore and desert locations.
