About The Property

Kaynuna Beach Escape, located on Yanbu's pristine shores, is a lively beachfront destination focused on relaxation, entertainment, and community living. Spanning 30,000 sqm, it features 150 sun loungers, 15 private cabanas each accommodating 7–8 guests, a 200-seat restaurant, a ground-floor shisha lounge, and a rooftop bar across two entertainment levels. The venue includes a private jetty for sea-taxi arrivals, landscaped outdoor areas, a sports hub, a playground, and hosts a year-round calendar of events, creating a vibrant coastal atmosphere.

Location

Yanbu, situated north of Jeddah on Saudi Arabia’s Red Sea coast, is renowned for its magnificent beaches and offshore islands like Al-Nawras Island. The area is accessible via Prince Abdul Mohsin Bin Abdulaziz International Airport, about 25 km away, with regular domestic flights linking to Riyadh, Jeddah, and Dammam, offering easy access while maintaining a serene beachside environment.

Role Overview

The Senior Supervisor Engineering position involves leading daily engineering operations to maintain guest rooms, public spaces, and facilities to superior standards. This role requires ensuring prompt responses to maintenance needs, overseeing preventive maintenance programs for electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems, managing equipment inventories, assuring safety and cleanliness compliance, coordinating interdepartmental operations, handling guest maintenance concerns professionally, managing departmental resources including budgeting, and training the engineering team to develop technical skills and enhance overall performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily engineering activities to maintain all hotel areas and amenities at high quality.
• Lead the engineering team in timely response to maintenance and technical issues.
• Implement and oversee preventive maintenance programs for critical systems: electrical, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical.
• Monitor and manage engineering tools, equipment, and inventory.
• Ensure health, safety, and cleanliness standards throughout back-of-house and public zones.
• Collaborate with other departments to maintain smooth operations with minimal guest disturbance.
• Track and prioritize maintenance tasks to ensure prompt resolution.
• Support infrastructure improvements, repairs, and ongoing projects effectively.
• Address and resolve guest maintenance concerns with professionalism.
• Assist in managing budgets, controlling costs, and resource allocation for the department.
• Train, mentor, and develop engineering personnel to improve skills and team efficiency.

Experience and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field.
• 4 to 6 years of engineering or maintenance experience within the hospitality sector, including 1 to 2 years in a supervisory capacity.
• Strong technical understanding of engineering systems related to electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical maintenance.
• Ability to interpret technical documentation such as drawings, manuals, and maintenance instructions.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities to guide, train, and motivate teams.
• Familiarity with health, safety, and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Physical aptitude to perform maintenance tasks when necessary.
• Fluency in English required; Arabic language knowledge is advantageous.
