Senior Steward

Job Overview

The Senior Steward role involves supporting the delivery of catering services across several stations (PS1, PS2, PS3, PS4, Al-Rayyan, FMB) by supervising personnel engaged in food and beverage preparation and service. This position ensures food service quality, facility upkeep, and compliance with sanitation and hygiene standards are consistently maintained.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily operations and special events under guidance of the Senior Facility Services Supervisor (OFF).
• Lead a team of contract staff at Offshore Station Facilities, ensuring high performance aligned with corporate standards and customer satisfaction.
• Enforce adherence to corporate policies and procedures throughout service operations.

Required Experience and Skills

• At least 5 years of experience in internationally recognized hotels or industrial food service facilities, including catering for private events; offshore experience is advantageous.
• Familiarity with HACCP certification is considered a plus.
• Fluent command of spoken and written English with preferred working knowledge of Arabic.
• Comprehensive understanding of food service equipment, facilities, materials, and operational methods and procedures.
• Experience in contract management and implementation.
• Computer proficiency, with preferred knowledge of SAP software.

Educational Requirements

A Higher Diploma in Hotel, Catering, or Hospitality Management is necessary.
