About the Role
Lehigh Acres Community Initiative is looking for a seasoned and strategic Senior Project Manager to oversee complex, high-impact initiatives from their inception to completion. The role demands leadership across various teams and departments, ensuring projects align with the organization's strategic objectives.
Responsibilities
- Direct and manage large-scale, visible projects spanning multiple departments and business functions.
- Develop detailed project schedules, plans, budgets, resource allocations, and define success criteria.
- Control project scope, timelines, budgets, dependencies, risks, and manage changes effectively.
- Lead collaboration among cross-functional teams, engage stakeholders, coordinate with vendors and external partners.
- Establish project governance structures, communication protocols, and reporting frameworks.
- Track project performance and deliver regular status reports to executive leadership.
- Identify potential risks and issues, developing and implementing strategies to mitigate them.
- Organize and facilitate executive steering committee sessions and project reviews.
- Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards and fulfill business and organizational goals.
- Promote continuous enhancements in project management practices and methodologies.
- Provide mentorship and direction to other project managers and team members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Information Technology, Engineering, or related disciplines.
- At least 7 years of advancing experience in project management roles.
- Demonstrated leadership of extensive, complex, or enterprise-level projects.
- Proficiency in Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or Hybrid project management frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with project management software such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Asana, Smartsheet, or Monday.com.
- Exceptional leadership, stakeholder engagement, communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Strong capabilities in financial management, risk assessment, planning, and analytical thinking.
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities and perform efficiently in a remote work setting.
