Position Summary

The Senior Project Manager plays a critical leadership role in overseeing the successful delivery of complex projects related to utilities, energy, and infrastructure across all stages from early contractor involvement (ECI) and pre-construction through execution phases such as engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and project closeout.

Responsible for overseeing major or strategically important projects, the Senior Project Manager is the main accountable leader for achieving project goals in safety, scheduling, quality, cost management, risk mitigation, and customer satisfaction. This position requires close collaboration with engineering, procurement, construction, project controls, and field leaders to ensure a unified approach throughout the project lifecycle and to drive favorable project results.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience handling large-scale, multidisciplinary projects involving utilities, transmission, substation, renewable energy, or infrastructure.
  • Deep understanding of project delivery models, engineering-procurement-construction interfaces, contract administration, and field execution.
  • Competence in leading diverse project teams, subcontractors, consultants, and managing client interactions in complex settings.
  • Advanced expertise in project controls including cost management, forecasting, scheduling, and risk handling.
  • Proficiency with project management tools such as Procore, SAP, Primavera P6, MS Project.
  • Educational background including diploma or degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Engineering Technology, or related fields.
  • Professional certifications (PMP, P.Eng., CET, Gold Seal) are beneficial.
