Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior .NET Developer with a robust background in C#/.NET and extensive experience on Microsoft Azure to lead the development, modernization, and optimization of key applications on cloud and client platforms. Expertise with Azure PaaS, Azure SQL, .NET MAUI, and React.js is essential. This role involves collaborating with product owners, architects, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality software that scales with organizational needs and enhances end-user experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the migration and modernization of legacy JobSiteCare systems off Salesforce to a modern C#/.NET framework ahead of deadlines.
• Rapidly understand and work with existing legacy codebases, maintaining proven functionalities.
• Design, build, and maintain enterprise-level applications using C#/.NET 6+, including backend APIs and shared libraries.
• Develop cross-platform mobile and desktop applications utilizing .NET MAUI.
• Create performant web front-end solutions with React.js and current JavaScript/TypeScript technologies.
• Implement Azure cloud-native architectures using services such as Azure App Service, Functions, Service Bus, API Management, and Logic Apps.
• Architect scalable, resilient microservices or modular monolithic systems as required.
• Design and optimize Azure SQL database schemas and enhance data access layers through indexing, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
• Engage with data architects to uphold data integrity, security, and regulatory compliance.
• Work alongside DevOps teams to define and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Support infrastructure configuration through infrastructure as code tools like ARM, Bicep, or Terraform and monitor applications using Azure Monitor and Application Insights.
• Lead root cause analysis and troubleshoot production issues effectively.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools responsibly, ensuring governance, security, and code quality.
• Mentor junior and intermediate developers, strengthening team capabilities.
• Participate actively in sprint planning, code reviews, architectural discussions, and system documentation.
• Collaborate with QA to enhance test automation and maintain high product quality standards.
• Partner with UX/UI teams to deliver user-friendly and responsive cross-platform experiences.

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years professional software development experience using C# and .NET.
• Proven track record migrating and modernizing legacy systems under tight timelines.
• Strong knowledge of Azure PaaS services including Azure App Service, Functions, Event Grid, Service Bus, Storage solutions, API Management, Key Vault, and Logic Apps.
• Experienced with Azure SQL for schema design, performance tuning, and efficient querying.
• Hands-on experience building cross-platform applications with .NET MAUI or Xamarin.Forms.
• Proficiency in React.js, modern JavaScript/TypeScript, and associated build tools such as Vite, Webpack, npm, or Yarn.
• Experience with RESTful API development and security integrations using Azure AD, B2C, OAuth2.
• Solid understanding of cloud-native principles, distributed systems, and optimizing application performance.
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies and modern DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and PHI handling compliance in healthcare software.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of NoSQL technologies like Cosmos DB, Table Storage, and Blob Storage.
• Experience architecting message-driven or event-based systems.
• Exposure to automated testing frameworks such as xUnit, Jest, or Playwright.
• Understanding of cloud application security best practices including OWASP, zero-trust, and secret management.
• Familiarity with healthcare-specific security standards like HIPAA, FHIR, and HL7.
• Experience with Blazor or other .NET UI technologies.

Compensation

The salary range for this role is $135,000 to $150,000 annually for US remote employees.
