Our client operates as a utilities provider servicing the South-East region, aiming to deliver services that are environmentally sustainable, economically viable, socially responsible, and that uphold long-term value creation.
Role Overview
The role involves overseeing the formulation of information management strategies, standards, and plans to ensure successful digital delivery throughout various projects and programmes. You will be responsible for IM outcomes, managing stakeholder relations, leading teams, and applying ISO 19650 methodologies. Depending on the scale and complexity of the project, you may act as the IM Lead or assist a senior IM Lead.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement information management strategies, standards, and ISO 19650 processes.
- Lead the IM function and supervise quality assurance measures.
- Conduct training sessions and foster continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide technical expertise and contribute to bid preparations.
- Manage IM teams and allocate resources effectively.
- Coordinate the setup and ongoing development of Common Data Environments (CDE).
- Support digital delivery efforts across projects.
- Contribute to achieving net-zero and carbon reduction objectives.
Qualifications and Skills
- Demonstrated leadership experience in information management on major projects and programmes.
- Expertise in ISO 19650 standards, the UK BIM framework, and managing Common Data Environments.
- Strong abilities in information architecture, setting standards, and document control.
- Relevant qualifications in information management disciplines and proficiency with key IM software such as Aconex and ViewPoint.
