Role Overview
The Senior Global Compensation Analyst will be pivotal in managing global compensation initiatives for US and India employees, ensuring the attraction and retention of premier talent whilst maintaining strict legal compliance. This role, reporting to the Director of Total Rewards, offers substantial visibility across the company and the chance to contribute to an expanding FinTech environment. It is a hybrid position based in Chennai.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze compensation by assessing job roles to establish classifications, exempt statuses, and salary bands using market data and internal comparisons.
- Develop and manage job evaluation frameworks, salary ranges, and job architecture aligned with company objectives and legal standards.
- Create and implement compensation policies and procedures, including salary and variable pay structures.
- Advise management and staff on compensation issues, salary disputes, and promotional matters.
- Generate detailed reports employing statistical techniques to support compensation decisions and organizational structure analysis.
- Monitor and comply with current labor laws and regulations impacting compensation practices.
- Conduct salary market data assessments for US and India workforces, facilitating compensation structuring.
- Prepare compensation statements and agreements, including those related to sales compensation.
- Partner with management and HR teams to review job classifications and maintain job architecture.
- Continuously seek process improvements and audit data for precision, collaborating with auditors as necessary.
Candidate Profile
- A minimum of 5 years' experience managing compensation programs in both US and India contexts.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
- Experience crafting compensation statements and agreements.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel.
- Strong team collaborator.
- Familiarity with ADP Workforce Now or Rippling platforms.
- In-depth knowledge of wage and tax legislation in US and India.
- Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) credential is preferred.
