Senior Estimator - Road Marking

Position Summary

We are looking for a seasoned Senior Estimator specialized in road marking projects to join our UAE-based team. The role involves delivering precise cost assessments, analyzing tender details, and crafting competitive commercial bids specifically for road marking and associated infrastructure assignments.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze project drawings, specifications, BOQs, tender files, and contract conditions thoroughly.
• Develop comprehensive cost estimates encompassing road marking materials, labor, machinery, subcontractor charges, and other project essentials.
• Formulate competitive pricing strategies, tender proposals, and commercial submissions.
• Perform detailed quantity take-offs while confirming project scope and measurement compliance.
• Request and assess quotes from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Identify potential commercial risks, explore cost reduction strategies, and recommend value-engineering solutions.
• Collaborate closely with project management, procurement, operations, and commercial units through the tender phase.
• Maintain and update pricing databases along with historical project cost documentation.
• Assist in responding to tender clarifications, negotiations, and commercial talks following tender submission.

Qualifications and Experience

• At least 8 to 10 years of professional background in estimation, tendering, and pricing for road marking and infrastructure projects.
• Demonstrable expertise with road marking projects within the UAE is essential.
• Comprehensive understanding of UAE-specific road marking materials, application techniques, productivity benchmarks, equipment, and project specifications.
• Extensive experience in preparing tenders, cost estimations, pricing evaluations, and BOQ assessments.
• Competent in interpreting technical drawings, detailed specifications, and contractual documentation.
• Strong analytical mindset combined with commercial insight and adept negotiation capabilities.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with estimation software tools.
• Must currently reside and be available within the UAE.
