Role Overview
The Senior Engineer / Assistant Manager position involves managing relationships and commercial activities with OEM customers. The role demands strong communication and presentation capabilities, expertise in handling dynamic customer needs, and coordination across multiple departments to support project and commercial goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing daily customer requirements and ensuring timely resolution of issues and requests.
- Overseeing commercial functions including supplementary claims, tooling cost recoveries, and customer agreements.
- Demonstrating adaptability to fluctuating customer demands, shifting priorities, and strict deadlines.
- Maintaining database management and utilizing IPCS and SAP portals for effective data collection and analysis.
- Preparing price approval documentation, managing price history, and updating prices in SAP systems.
- Collaborating closely with Project Management, Quality, R&D, and other cross-functional teams to provide commercial support.
Requirements and Skills
- B.Tech or B.E. degree in any specialization.
- Prior experience dealing with OEM customers considered advantageous.
- Effective verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- Strong product knowledge and the ability to comprehend customer requirements.
- Proficiency with SAP and database management tools.
Eligibility
Applicants must possess a B.Tech or B.E. degree in any engineering discipline.
