Role Overview
This senior leadership position requires setting the strategic direction for city IT operations within a complex infrastructure. The chosen candidate will help convert the smart city vision into solid operational execution by collaborating with senior stakeholders and operational partners to guarantee resilient and integrated ICT operations that support the city’s long-term readiness.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the IT operations strategy tailored to smart infrastructure readiness.
- Lead service operations within a complex smart city or large infrastructure environment.
- Manage incident and problem resolution processes while enhancing service governance protocols.
- Establish and apply operational models that promote smooth and efficient smart city functions.
- Coordinate closely with city leadership, developers, contractors, utility providers, and ICT and operations teams to ensure aligned execution and delivery.
Candidate Requirements
- Academic degree in computer science, information systems, telecommunications, electrical engineering, or related fields.
- Significant experience in leading ICT operations within smart cities, major real estate developments, or similarly complex infrastructure settings.
- Proven track record in managing service operations including incident handling, problem solving, and governance.
- Expertise in ICT infrastructure platforms alongside Internet of Things (IoT) or Operational Technology (OT) systems.
- Strong familiarity with smart city operational frameworks.
- Experience collaborating effectively with city authorities, development stakeholders, contractors, utilities, and ICT teams.
