Supporting over 6000 hospitality venues across five countries and staffed by 200 employees, headquartered in Melbourne, me&u emerged from the merger of Mr Yum and me&u in November 2023.

Role Overview

This position is designed for a designer focused on building systems, not just individual assets. You will craft high-quality creative work spanning brand, social media, sales, and product design, while also developing AI-driven platforms that empower fast, consistent, on-brand content creation company-wide.

As the first creative role emphasizing AI system integration, your mission is to revolutionize content production, shifting from isolated projects to scalable, repeatable processes. The role demands a blend of design expertise, AI proficiency, and systems thinking to maximize output efficiency and quality across a lean team, uplifting the overall brand presence to reflect innovation and leadership.

This role is based in Melbourne with flexible remote work options.

Key Responsibilities

• Create top-tier creative content for social, sales, product, and brand channels, setting a benchmark for quality.
• Develop and deploy a "Creative OS"—a suite of templates, tools, and AI workflows supporting scalable content generation for various teams.
• Build reusable creative systems including LinkedIn content engines, case study generators, sales presentations, advertising frameworks, and video templates.
• Manage and refine AI-powered workflows that convert raw data inputs like product updates and customer insights into polished, structured content efficiently.
• Maintain and expand a comprehensive library of easy-to-use, foolproof design templates across Figma and other platforms covering social posts, presentations, one-pagers, event collateral, and video formats.
• Enable autonomous content creation by establishing a central repository (such as Notion) containing templates, prompts, examples, and straightforward usage guides.
• Collaborate closely with marketing, sales, product, and customer teams to guarantee message consistency and execution excellence.
• Set up lightweight review and feedback mechanisms to sustain quality, enhance visibility, and continuously improve content systems without causing delays.
• Ensure content production is primarily self-serve, using feedback loops to improve rather than restrict output.
• Continuously explore and integrate emerging AI tools and creative techniques to boost speed, volume, and effectiveness.
• Elevate the company's creative standards by enhancing the quality, uniformity, and impact of all content delivered.

Candidate Profile

• 3 to 5 years of experience as a designer with proficiency in crafting reusable systems, templates, or scalable creative workflows.
• Exceptional design sensibility with meticulous attention to detail and a strong aesthetic judgment.
• Highly results-oriented, capable of working swiftly, iteratively, and prioritizing production over perfection.
• Intellectually curious and self-driven, always seeking to adopt new methods, tools, and ideas.
• Hands-on experience using AI technologies such as ChatGPT, Codex, Claude, and various image/video tools for practical workflows.
• Strong systems thinker looking to convert repetitive tasks into scalable, repeatable solutions.
• Able to navigate ambiguity and build processes from the ground up in a dynamic, fast-moving environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across departments and empower teammates.
• Background in startups or rapidly growing companies is highly valued.

This role reports directly to the Co-founder & CXO.
