Senior Asset Manager

Overview

We are recruiting for a Senior Asset Manager to join a growing renewable energy investor and asset owner. The firm manages an operational portfolio that includes wind, solar, and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) across Europe. This opportunity offers involvement with utility-scale renewable projects, a collaborative workplace, and significant advancement potential within an expanding European portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Oversee both technical and commercial performance aspects of operational renewable energy assets.
• Supervise medium voltage (MV) and high voltage (HV) electrical systems to ensure safe operations and adherence to switching procedures and system performance standards.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for operational matters related to MV/HV electrical systems and promote best practices throughout the asset portfolio.
• Manage critical contracts such as Operations & Maintenance agreements, Power Purchase Agreements, and asset management service contracts.
• Maintain and build relationships with service providers, grid operators, contractors, and other relevant stakeholders.
• Assist with budgeting, controlling operational expenditures, and implementing initiatives aimed at improving performance.
• Champion Health, Safety, and Environmental compliance across all managed assets.

Requirements

• A degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred, or a qualification in a related engineering, science, or technical field.
• Relevant technical and/or commercial expertise within renewable energy, power generation, utility, or energy infrastructure sectors.
• Solid understanding of MV/HV electrical systems and related operational procedures.
• Demonstrated experience in managing, supervising, or coordinating MV/HV operational activities is highly advantageous.
• Commercially minded with familiarity in operational or service contract management.
• Candidates with practical site experience interested in shifting toward asset management roles are welcome.
