Senior Architect / Design Coordinator

Overview

Pura Solutions is recruiting on behalf of a confidential client, a well-established construction firm in Qatar, for the position of Architect / Design Coordinator. The candidate will start remotely from Tunisia with travel to Qatar as needed. This role is suited for professionals proficient in Revit and architectural drawings and capable of coordinating design efforts involving clients, engineers, suppliers, and project teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in client meetings to interpret and convert requirements into architectural designs.
• Create and deliver design proposals in a clear and professional manner.
• Generate and coordinate architectural drawings using Revit and AutoCAD software.
• Prepare, review, and manage shop drawings and construction details.
• Collaborate closely with engineers, suppliers, contractors, and other project stakeholders.
• Ensure design quality across various projects including residential, commercial, and fit-out sectors.
• Manage design coordination remotely with teams based in Qatar, maintaining clear and effective communication.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, Interior Architecture, or related built environment discipline.
• At least two years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong practical knowledge of Revit.
• Proficient in AutoCAD usage.
• Fluency in both English and Arabic.
• Competency in reading, preparing, and coordinating architectural drawings.
• Effective communication skills and confidence engaging clients and project teams.
• Portfolio or samples of work demonstrating relevant design and drawing capabilities.

Preferred Attributes

• Over five years’ experience in architecture, design coordination, or project delivery.
• Experience with GCC-based projects or clients.
• Background in luxury villas, upscale residential, commercial, or fit-out projects.
• Familiarity with preparing shop drawings and construction details.
• Knowledge of visualization software such as SketchUp, Lumion, Enscape, or similar.
• Experience managing remote design coordination.
• Working history with contractors, consultants, or multi-disciplinary teams.
