Senior Accountant

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This role is pivotal in overseeing financial transactions, crafting financial statements, and ensuring adherence to accounting regulations. The Senior Accountant will also lead budget formulation, forecasting, and conducting comprehensive financial analyses. Additionally, tasks include account reconciliation, preparing tax returns, and collaborating with various departments to devise and execute financial strategies aligned with the organization's objectives.

Qualifications and Requirements

• At least five years of accounting experience, including a role as a Senior Accountant.
• Expertise in financial reporting, budgeting procedures, and forecasting methodologies.
• In-depth understanding of accounting principles, standards, and Saudi Arabian tax laws.
• Proven experience in account reconciliation, auditing processes, and financial analytical skills.
• Advanced proficiency with financial software and ERP systems, notably ODOO and Microsoft Excel.
• Exceptional attention to detail combined with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to operate effectively within cross-functional teams while managing multiple concurrent tasks.
• Preferred certifications include CPA, CMA, or other relevant accounting credentials.
• A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a similar discipline is mandatory.
• Exposure to the healthcare or biotechnology sectors is considered a plus.
