About the Role
Iconic Electric Power Private Limited, located in Vadodara, Gujarat, is seeking a seasoned Senior Accountant to oversee its finance and accounting functions. This role demands proficiency in financial accounting, GST and TDS compliance, taxation, payroll, budgeting, project costing, and comprehensive MIS reporting. Candidates familiar with industries such as EPC, Electrical, Solar, Infrastructure, or Construction are preferred due to the nature of the projects handled.
Main Responsibilities
- Maintain complete accounting records using ERP or accounting software.
- Manage invoice preparation, accounts receivable and payable, and overall financial documentation.
- Ensure adherence to GST, TDS, Income Tax, ROC, and other mandatory statutory requirements.
- Administer payroll processing including statutory deductions and employee reimbursements.
- Generate MIS reports, financial statements, cash flow statements, budgets, and management reports.
- Create and monitor project budgets, analyzing costs effectively.
- Coordinate with banking institutions for fund management, online transactions, and banking operations.
- Regularly reconcile bank, vendor, and customer accounts.
- Collaborate with project teams to manage billing, invoice generation, vendor payments, and client collections.
- Assist during internal and external audits ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Lead finance activities to ensure accuracy, integrity, and timely delivery of reports.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Age between 22 and 45 years.
- Open to all genders.
- Graduate with a preference for B.Com, M.Com, CA Intermediate, CMA Intermediate, or equivalent qualifications.
- Basic proficiency in English.
- Minimum of 3 years professional experience in accounting-related roles.
