Job Overview

This position combines the responsibilities of a security bodyguard and a driver, providing close personal protection to VIP clients during transit and at various locations. The role requires operating vehicles defensively, maintaining vigilance, and ensuring discretion while safeguarding clients.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver physical protection during travel and public engagements for designated VIPs, executives, and celebrities.
Stay consistently alert to identify and mitigate any security risks.
Safely escort clients to assigned destinations, coordinating with onsite security personnel when necessary.
Plan routes and evaluate risks in advance; prepare contingency measures.
Drive assigned vehicles—sedans, SUVs, or armored cars—following traffic rules and VIP protocols.
Manage stressful traffic and emergency situations with composure.
Ensure vehicle cleanliness, fuel adequacy, and roadworthiness at all times.
Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections and report mechanical concerns to supervisors.
React quickly and decisively to emergencies such as attacks, medical incidents, or traffic accidents.
Evacuate clients safely and notify relevant authorities following established procedures.
Provide basic first aid or facilitate emergency medical evacuation when required.
Maintain confidentiality regarding client whereabouts, schedules, and personal details.
Exhibit professional behavior, politeness, and appropriate language consistently.
Protect vehicles from threats while parked or stationary; observe surroundings for suspicious activities.
Report unusual or suspicious conduct near client property or vehicles promptly.

Qualifications and Experience

Minimum education of 10th grade; completion of 12th grade is preferable.
Valid Light Motor Vehicle driving license with 3 to 5 years of accident-free experience.
At least 3 to 7 years of experience in personal security or VIP driving roles.
Prior experience as a bodyguard, ex-serviceman, or Personal Security Officer is advantageous.
Familiarity with security procedures, evasive driving techniques, and first aid is desirable.
Age bracket from 28 to 50 years old.
Height minimum of 5 feet 8 inches (172 cm), with good physical fitness and alertness.

Skills and Competencies

Proficient in defensive and evasive driving under pressure.
Excellent awareness of surroundings and rapid response capability.
Courteous yet firm interaction with the public.
Basic understanding of risk analysis and protective tactics.
Ability to remain calm, discreet, and reliable in all situations.
Communication skills in English, Hindi, and regional languages preferred.

Working Conditions

May involve extended and flexible hours aligned with VIP schedules.
Required to travel inter-city or out of town as necessary.
Dress code varies between uniform and formal attire depending on client requirements.
On-call duties including weekends and public holidays.
