Job Summary

This role involves leading a team of Managers and Specialists within Global Labeling Operations, overseeing labeling processes linked to certain products, manufacturing locations, and geographic zones. Responsibilities extend to developing shared label management strategy, packaging and artwork strategy, managing project launches, and coordinating artwork initiatives.

Core Responsibilities

• Guide, mentor, and build the capabilities of a team comprising Global Labeling Operations Managers and Specialists.
• Offer both strategic vision and on-the-ground leadership for labeling initiatives associated with designated products, brand portfolios, regions or packaging sites.
• Take ownership of labeling activities related to shared label management, packaging approaches, artwork strategies, launch project management, artwork planning and coordination, forecasting, and periodic interaction with manufacturing and regulatory teams.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement by leading and engaging in enhancement projects and initiatives.
• Analyze key departmental metrics and formulate improvement plans to elevate performance.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to drive labeling intelligence and ensure availability of artwork for regulatory submissions and production processes.
• Establish clear objectives for the team, aligning them with broader organizational aims.
• Efficiently plan resource allocation and supervise day-to-day labeling workflows.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, or Supply Chain with prior experience in Operations, Regulatory, or Quality environments.
• Proven ability to operate within complex global settings managing direct reports located in different countries.
• Strong leadership qualities coupled with demonstrated skills in people management and development.
• Experience managing and implementing change management initiatives successfully.
• Capacity to engage and influence senior management and diverse global teams effectively.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards relevant to Pharmaceuticals, Devices, and Combination Products, particularly those concerning Packaging and Labeling Quality Systems.
