Role Overview
We are seeking a Scrum Master to join our Enterprise Technology Services team to drive excellence in Agile methodologies and help squads deliver outstanding products and customer experiences. This role demands strong collaboration with Product Owners, engineers, and other stakeholders to nurture continuous improvement, accountability, and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Oversee delivery management, set expectations, and influence engineering teams to achieve goals.
- Coach and mentor teams and Product Owners on Scrum framework, Agile best practices, and effective backlog management.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives grounded in team metrics, insights, and root cause analysis.
- Identify and remove blockers, shielding squads from interruptions that hinder successful delivery.
- Promote transparency, collaboration, and shared responsibility among squads and business stakeholders.
- Assist with release and incident management tasks as needed.
- Contribute to the Scrum Master Community of Practice and enhance Agile capabilities company-wide.
Qualifications and Experience
- Proven experience leading and transforming delivery using Scrum methodologies in complex technology environments.
- Strong skills in managing delivery dependencies, risks, and issues effectively.
- Expertise in coaching teams on Agile principles, practices, and cultural adoption.
- Competence in backlog refinement and sprint planning processes.
- Ability to utilize delivery metrics and data analytics to uncover improvement opportunities.
- Experience facilitating problem-solving and ongoing process enhancement initiatives.
- Exposure to coordinating multiple Scrum teams in multi-product settings.
- Excellent stakeholder management, facilitation, and communication skills.
- Desirable: Experience in financial services, payments, or regulatory environments, understanding of flow metrics and Agile reporting, involvement in release and incident management, and advanced knowledge of Agile scaling and enterprise delivery frameworks.
