This role is remote within the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Organize, lead, and facilitate all Scrum activities such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint demos, backlog reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Act as Scrum Master for cross-functional teams ensuring compliance with cGEP and cGMP standards.
  • Guide teams in breaking down large epics and stories into manageable sub-stories, tasks, and spikes suitable for delivery.
  • Coach and mentor teams on Scrum framework principles, promoting consistent Agile practice adherence and enabling highly productive, self-organizing groups.
  • Maintain visibility and ensure user stories advance through all necessary workflow phases to support transparency and sprint momentum.
  • Identify and remove any obstacles that hinder team efficiency, appropriately escalating issues while maintaining focus on sprint commitments.
  • Collaborate with Development Managers to facilitate capacity management, prioritization, and sprint planning.
  • Lead retrospectives and continuous improvement discussions driven by team feedback and performance metrics.
  • Prepare and guide backlog refinement sessions to ready work for upcoming sprints.
  • Work with Project Management Office to establish delivery timelines, including resource forecasting and capacity planning.
  • Evaluate resource allocation, uncover any shortages, and assist with balancing workloads as necessary.
  • Engage with clients and stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of business requirements and alignment with development outcomes.
  • Serve as a communication bridge between development teams and product management to uphold agreed project governance and delivery standards.
  • Monitor project risks and delivery challenges; escalate concerns beyond the team and promote resolution through proper management channels.

Required Skills and Experience

  • At least 10 years of total work experience with a minimum of 4 years in roles related to Robotics, Embedded Systems, or Manufacturing environments.
  • Experience with New Product Introduction (NPI), GMP protocols and new process development from a Scrum perspective.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or engineering discipline.
  • Proficient knowledge of Agile frameworks and Scrum methodology.
  • Hands-on practice using Agile management tools including JIRA, Confluence, Smartsheet, and JAMA.
  • Experience overseeing multiple Scrum teams simultaneously.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and conflict resolution capabilities, comfortable working with cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams.
  • Foundational understanding of project management practices.
  • Scrum Master certification like Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) is preferred.
