Overview and Candidate Profile

We are searching for a dynamic School Head with extensive international exposure and a proven leadership track record in complex, service-focused organisations. While an education sector background is not mandatory, significant emphasis is placed on transferable leadership skills—particularly in managing diverse teams, enforcing high standards, implementing operational systems, and nurturing a strong culture of service excellence.

Relevant professional experience may come from sectors such as hospitality and hotel management, healthcare administration, corporate operations, or structured retail environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership by defining and communicating the school's vision, mission, and long-term objectives.
• Drive policy implementation to raise academic quality, boost operational effectiveness, and enhance the school’s reputation within the community.
• Act as the primary representative of the school, fostering strong relationships with stakeholders, partners, and regulators.
• Encourage a culture centred on innovation, excellence, and accountability across departments.
• Manage admissions, enrollment strategies, and targets to ensure school growth.
• Collaborate with the Vice Principal of Academics to oversee curriculum development aligned with global standards such as Cambridge, IB, or equivalents.
• Ensure adoption of modern pedagogical methods and digital tools to enhance teaching and learning.
• Use data-driven assessments to monitor student achievement and drive continuous educational improvements.
• Support inclusive programming for diverse learners, including ESL and gifted students.
• Recruit and mentor qualified teaching and administrative staff, facilitating their ongoing professional development.
• Implement performance management systems with clear goals and feedback mechanisms.
• Promote a collaborative and accountable leadership team environment.
• Champion holistic student development covering academic, social, emotional, and extracurricular areas.
• Guarantee effective counseling, safety, and welfare systems for students.
• Oversee extracurricular, sports, and enrichment programs that foster well-rounded growth.
• Develop transparent relationships with parents, guardians, and alumni.
• Represent the school in external forums, partnerships, and community initiatives to enhance visibility and impact.

Qualifications and Experience

• Master’s degree or higher, ideally in Education, Educational Leadership, or a related discipline.
• At least 7 to 10 years of ascending leadership roles, including a minimum of 3 years in senior executive positions.
• Proven record leading complex, service-oriented enterprises; education sector experience is an advantage but not essential.
• Comfortable working within international or multicultural contexts.
• Knowledge of international curricula such as Cambridge or IB is advantageous.

Working Conditions
