Role Summary
We are hiring a permanent Scheduling Officer in Wayville to deliver outstanding customer service by efficiently assigning staff according to the varied needs of our clients. The position involves direct communication with Support Workers, clients, and their families to update them on roster changes and staffing arrangements. Building strong relationships is key to matching the right personnel with client requirements to provide quality care. This role requires working one weekend shift every two weeks, compensated with penalty rates.
Key Responsibilities and Experiences
- Deliver excellent customer service by managing staff schedules effectively
- Maintain regular and clear communication with support staff and clients regarding roster updates
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with clients and employees to ensure optimal care delivery
- Handle on-call, weekend, and public holiday shifts as required
Essential and Desirable Qualifications and Skills
- Strong passion for assisting people with disabilities or vulnerabilities
- Capability to prioritize and manage several tasks simultaneously in a dynamic environment
- Experience with software such as Salesforce, Skedulo, or Lumary is highly preferred
- Understanding of relevant labor awards, particularly SCHADS Award
- Previous exposure to the health or not-for-profit sectors is advantageous
- Prior experience in rostering roles is beneficial
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Current National Police Check, Working With Children Check, and NDIS Clearance mandatory
