Role Overview

The Sanitation Associate position is vital for maintaining excellent cleanliness and sanitation standards within bakery production areas. This role involves preparing and cleaning production equipment and following strict food safety practices to guarantee product quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Disassemble and reassemble production equipment efficiently to facilitate thorough cleaning.
• Set up machinery and line equipment in preparation for production runs.
• Operate cleaning machines safely, including rack washers, power washers, steamers, washer extractors, and dryers.
• Adhere to Food Safety, Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP), and food quality plans rigorously.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Physical ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds, as well as stack, unstack, carry items, and stand or stoop for extended periods.
• Effective communication skills in English.
• Comfort with working in warm environments.
• Willingness to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive starting wage of $20.80 per hour.
• Available openings primarily during the 2nd shift.
