Overview
The Sales Enablement Coordinator plays a crucial role in streamlining sales processes and equipping the sales team with the necessary knowledge, content, and resources to effectively market licensed Mitchell & Ness apparel, including jerseys and headwear, across wholesale and direct-to-consumer channels. This position demands close collaboration across multiple departments such as technology, customer service, go-to-market (GTM), product, and merchandising.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the maintenance and enhancement of the B2B sales platform by managing marketing materials, product data, deadlines, and access controls, supporting weekly sales communications.
- Assist in the promotion and consistent use of sales productivity tools, ensuring precise tracking of product SKUs and wholesale compliance.
- Manage a centralized content repository including line sheets, catalogs, lookbooks, and licensing guidelines ensuring all materials are approved, up-to-date, and readily available.
- Curate and distribute heritage storytelling content for retro collections to enable sales reps to convey the brand's cultural significance effectively.
- Coordinate logistics for seasonal product training including schedules, product samples, presenters, and training content focused on new product knowledge and licensing updates.
- Control a master calendar for ongoing training sessions related to seasonal launches and product updates.
- Prepare internal resources and facilitate training sessions for major market events and key account meetings.
- Support GTM and Merchandising by maintaining and tracking a comprehensive GTM calendar of product launches, collaborations, and wholesale deadlines.
- Communicate internally urgent updates on inventory, production schedules, and licensed property agreements; serve as a liaison for sales information and requests related to special project merchandise (SMU) initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or 2–3 years of experience in a coordinating or support role, preferably within retail, apparel, or consumer goods sectors.
- Strong organizational skills with a track record managing complex logistics involving both physical samples and large digital catalogs or datasets.
- High competency in Microsoft Office, notably Excel or Google Sheets.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with Sales, Merchandising, and Operations teams.
- Preferred: Experience or familiarity with licensed sports apparel businesses and relationships with leagues like NBA, NFL, MLB.
- Preferred: Background using CRM platforms (such as Salesforce or Elastic), or apparel-specific ERP/inventory systems.
- Preferred: A passion for sports, fashion, and knowledge of the heritage behind the Mitchell & Ness brand.
