Role Overview
Holland & Barrett is hiring a part-time Retail Assistant for its Nutgrove Shopping Centre store in Rathfarnham, Dublin. This is a permanent position with a working schedule of 10 hours per week and an hourly pay rate of €15.40.
In this role, you will represent a health and wellness retailer that focuses on helping customers make informed choices for healthier, happier lives. The position suits someone who enjoys helping people, is interested in wellbeing, and takes pride in delivering a positive in-store experience.
Key Duties
- Act as a trusted first point of contact for shoppers seeking guidance on wellness products and services.
- Keep stock levels healthy, make sure displays are tidy and appealing, and help promotions run effectively.
- Help uphold company standards for safety, compliance, and overall store appearance.
- Complete the Qualified to Advise training so you can offer informed support to customers.
- Use your product knowledge to suggest suitable items and practical solutions.
- Work closely with teammates to meet store goals and contribute to strong overall performance.
- Represent the brand as a health and wellness ambassador in every customer interaction.
About You
The ideal candidate is a confident communicator with strong people skills, a genuine interest in health and wellness, and an eagerness to keep learning. You should be comfortable juggling tasks, staying organised, and working well as part of a team.
Being comfortable with technology, including using tablets to review products and recommend solutions, will help you succeed. Prior experience in retail or another customer-facing role is helpful, but it is not essential because full training will be provided.
