Key responsibilities

• Build research prototypes and sandbox environments that turn abstract concepts into modular systems capable of rapid testing and validation.
• Create evaluation methods and benchmarking utilities that allow decision systems to be assessed in a consistent and rigorous way.
• Develop experimental architectures and pipelines that enable iterative testing, A/B experiments, and structured comparisons between models or approaches.
• Keep research infrastructure healthy and evolving, with an emphasis on reproducibility, stability, and scalability across teams and workflows.
• Work side by side with research scientists to convert theoretical models into executable systems and share early feedback on technical feasibility and limitations.
• Support integration efforts by spotting engineering constraints early and helping adjust research directions to match technical realities.

Requirements

• Strong software engineering fundamentals, with a track record of building modular, dependable, and maintainable systems in complex settings.
• Prior exposure to experimental, prototype-oriented, or research-adjacent work, preferably in AI, analytics, or similarly advanced technical domains.
• Comfort operating in ambiguous, research-led environments where requirements change often and clarity must be built through iteration.
• Familiarity with AI pipelines, decision systems, or data-driven architectures, including how to structure systems for experimentation and evaluation.
• Ability to move quickly without sacrificing rigor, producing usable systems while preserving reproducibility, clarity, and technical quality.
• Clear communication skills and a collaborative mindset when working with researchers and engineers on still-evolving concepts.
