Role Overview

Amazon seeks an experienced Reliability Engineering Maintenance (RME) Planner to join the team at a highly automated and rapidly paced Fulfilment Center near Northamptonshire, England. The RME Planner will play a crucial role in managing asset and spare parts, scheduling preventive maintenance, and maintaining historical equipment data to maximize machine uptime and site efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the site-level expert for the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), providing training to engineering staff and escalating issues to regional teams as necessary.
  • Manage the CMMS to align with EU standards, participate in Europe-wide projects and improvement initiatives, and help implement enhancements such as new functionalities, procedures, schedules, and reports.
  • Ensure all site equipment, spare parts, and their inventory minimums are correctly logged in the system so technicians have timely access to necessary parts.
  • Accurately schedule and assign all required preventive maintenance tasks to the maintenance team, supporting high equipment availability.
  • Compile and analyze equipment data, performance metrics, and machine histories to identify improvement opportunities and advise management accordingly.
  • Oversee spare parts inventory levels, place and monitor orders, and collaborate with procurement and European colleagues to improve cost-efficiency and operational processes.

Qualifications and Experience
