Role overview

This position involves handling life insurance sales through designated bank branches in Kannur. The role includes working closely with bank teams, converting leads into policies, and engaging with walk-in customers to recommend suitable life insurance products.

Responsibilities

• Source leads from branch lead generators, the bank customer database, and visitors who come into the branch.
• Meet prospects, understand their financial and insurance needs, and suggest suitable products from the company portfolio.
• Complete sales documentation accurately and secure the customer’s agreement to proceed with the purchase.
• Develop a strong customer base to create opportunities for cross-selling, upselling, and referrals.
• Support closure of sales by coordinating medical formalities and ensuring the policy document is issued on time.
• Follow the company’s sales process and submit required reports within the specified timelines.

Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in life insurance, insurance cross-selling, banking sales, or financial services sales is required.
• Applicants should hold any graduate degree or a diploma in any specialization.
• Candidates must be comfortable handling bank-branch-based sales and customer-facing conversations.
• The age limit for this role is up to 33 years.
