Position Overview

The Relationship Associate supports Relationship Managers by simplifying banking processes and offering tailored financial solutions. This role involves conducting financial analysis and assisting designated customer groups, fostering development in credit and relationship management skills. It is based in Te Kuiti or Te Awamutu and is a permanent position working standard hours, Monday to Friday for 37.5 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with customers thoughtfully to understand their businesses and service needs thoroughly.
• Collaborate closely with Relationship and Senior Managers as well as product teams to create and implement suitable customer solutions and address concerns.
• Support accurate credit decision-making by performing financial evaluations and interpreting customer data.
• Contribute to customer base growth by nurturing strong relationships and delivering insightful banking product recommendations tailored to customer needs.

Candidate Profile

• Proven ability to build strong customer relationships through service-focused roles.
• Strong skills in analyzing financial trends and their implications.
• A tertiary degree in finance or equivalent experience in financial or lending environments.
• Good knowledge of security arrangement structures.
• Experience working within banking or finance sectors is preferred.
