Role Overview

As a Region Manager, you will spearhead growth within your territory by overseeing all sales and revenue activities. You will form strong partnerships with retailers, senior distributor executives, and brokers. Your goal is to aggressively increase top-line revenue while safeguarding profitability. Collaborate directly with distributor directors and general managers to design effective strategies that align with corporate vision and ensure excellent execution. Deliver consistent results through impactful relationships and disciplined operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain senior leadership relationships with distributors, crafting and implementing strategic plans.
  • Manage daily distributor interactions including joint business planning and performance reviews.
  • Support senior trade development managers (TDMs) with capability building, KPI monitoring, setting priorities, recruitment, and development plans.
  • Guide direct reports who balance internal process responsibilities and field execution, enabling senior TDMs to focus more on field training and customer outcomes.
  • Lead distributor incentive programs to promote sales engagement, ensuring the energy product line remains a top priority for distributor teams.
  • Create and manage a joint key account activation schedule with distributors to ensure alignment and commitment.
  • Enhance skillsets of direct reports through individual development plans, sales tools improvement, and uniform customer call strategies nationwide.
  • Champion field execution standards including point-of-sale displays, KPI tracking, new product developments, and distribution expansion.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with distributors to share standards, information, best practices, address issues, and agree on solutions.

Candidate Profile

  • Educational preference for a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related disciplines.
  • A minimum of 7 years’ experience in sales, ideally in leadership positions.
  • Extensive experience exceeding 7 years in retail, broker, and distributor sales environments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications at an advanced level.
  • Familiarity with forecasting methods, Nielsen/IRI data, point-of-sale, and inventory reporting is advantageous.
  • English fluency is preferred.
