Overview
We are seeking an experienced Recruiting Manager to lead and enhance a dynamic talent acquisition team based in California. This is a long-term temporary contract ideal for a leader focused on improving team performance, refining recruitment operations, and fostering solid cross-business partnerships. The role encompasses managing recruiters, upholding excellent service standards, and supporting hiring needs from general business positions to executive-level recruitment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership, coaching, and support to the recruitment team to drive high performance and career development.
- Set team goals, monitor progress using defined metrics, and provide consistent feedback to ensure service quality and accountability.
- Supervise daily recruiting activities to maintain compliance with hiring protocols and satisfy stakeholder expectations.
- Distribute recruiting workloads aligned with business priorities, open positions, and available team capacity.
- Enhance team skills through mentorship, training sessions, and implementation of efficient recruiting practices and operational improvements.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive culture promoting ownership, continuous learning, and process enhancement.
- Develop and track key performance indicators and service benchmarks to sustain high-quality execution and candidate experience.
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition leadership to forecast hiring demands and align resources accordingly.
- Partner with HR, Shared Services, Technology, and business leaders to drive initiatives improving recruiting effectiveness and operational workflows.
- Support executive-level hiring efforts, including coordination with external search partners and agencies.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven leadership experience within enterprise or corporate recruiting teams.
- Strong expertise in full-cycle recruitment: sourcing, candidate management, and offer facilitation.
- Capability to manage recruiting operations balancing service delivery, process compliance, and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Experience collaborating with external executive recruiting firms and managing high-level searches.
- Solid grasp of recruitment policies, performance metrics, and service-level expectations.
- Knowledge of HR policies relevant to talent acquisition and their practical application.
- Excellent communication, coaching, and relationship management skills with leadership and cross-functional teams.
