The Recruiting Business Partner plays a crucial role in developing talent sourcing channels, building strong partnerships with hiring managers, and meeting urgent recruitment deadlines. This position oversees talent attraction strategies while employing benchmarking and metric-setting expertise.
Role Details
The successful candidate will contribute to locating top talent worldwide that supports Amazon’s growth. Working with a team including Sourcers and Recruiting Coordinators, the Recruiter will specialize in candidate sourcing and placement, enhancing recruitment processes, strategizing, and serving as the primary client lead for assigned groups. This role demands fostering a collaborative, customer-focused team culture that ensures swift, effective, and high-quality service delivery aligned with client service level agreements (SLAs).
Responsibilities and Expectations
- Manage and prioritize recruitment assignments to meet strict timelines.
- Establish benchmarks and performance metrics.
- Operate in a dynamic, fast-moving environment where adaptability and hands-on effort are crucial.
- Build strong partnerships with business leaders, hiring managers, and HR counterparts.
- Excel at generating candidates and managing client accounts.
- Communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Organize workload efficiently, demonstrate assertiveness, urgency, and maintain exemplary customer service standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of progressive recruiting or research experience in a corporate or search firm environment.
- Bachelor’s degree or alternatively at least 2 years of full-time Amazon work experience.
- Familiarity with contact management or applicant tracking systems for sourcing and tracking candidates.
Preferred Skills
- Experience handling both high-volume and specialized recruitment needs.
- Participation or leadership in technology recruiting events, mixers, meetups, or user groups.

Compensation and Benefits
Positions are based in Seattle, Nashville, or Arlington. Annual base salary ranges by location are as follows:
- Nashville, TN: $50,900 - $89,100
- Arlington, VA: $56,600 - $99,100
- Seattle, WA: $80,200 - $99,100
The total compensation package may include sign-on bonuses and restricted stock units (RSUs).
