About the Role
Careerscape is a nationwide recruitment and staffing partner with coverage across Legal & Compliance, Technology & IT, Healthcare Administration & Clinical, Marketing & Creative, Office Support & Administration, and Real Estate & Property Management. The team is hiring a recruiter on a contract basis to support growth. The assignment starts as a 3-month engagement and may lead to a full-time role depending on performance and overall fit.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the entire hiring process for multiple roles, including sourcing, screening, and offer stage support.
- Act as the main liaison for clients and hiring managers from kickoff through completion of each search.
- Juggle several open searches at once while keeping quality and responsiveness high.
- Support candidates through each step and represent Careerscape in a polished, professional manner.
- Use the company’s proprietary applicant tracking system and candidate/employer portals to manage workflow.
Qualifications
- 5–7 years of end-to-end recruiting experience, with agency background considered an advantage.
- Proven history of successfully placing candidates in roles.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Confident, professional presence when working with senior stakeholders and candidates.
- Capable of handling 10 or more active searches and setting priorities effectively.
- Strong judgment when assessing candidate fit and suitability.
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving, expanding environment.
- Hands-on experience with ATS/CRM platforms and the ability to quickly learn a custom ATS.
Preferred Experience
- Background recruiting within one or more of Careerscape’s target sectors.
- Experience helping a business scale or operate through a growth phase.
Contract Details
- The engagement runs for 3 months and is expected to follow full-time working hours.
- There is a possibility of conversion to a permanent role if performance and fit are strong.
- The position is remote, with preference given to candidates based in New York City.
- Initial compensation is commission-only.
