About the Role
A rewarding position is available within Torbay Drug and Alcohol Service as a Recovery Coordinator. This role involves being part of Torbay Recovery Initiatives, a collaborative partnership including Torbay and South Devon NHS Trust, Devon Partnership Trust, Waythrough, and Jatis. The service integrates into the broader multi-complex needs alliance, Growth In Action, which aims to provide individuals with hope, choice, and appropriate connections at the right time during their recovery journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute actively to delivering safe, high-quality, and compassionate drug and alcohol support as a vital member of a multidisciplinary team.
- Conduct thorough reviews of individual and group care packages, adhering to established protocols, integrated care pathways, and principles of recovery.
- Offer evidence-based guidance and consultation to patients and their families or carers within the framework of care coordination and management.
- Manage and organize a specific caseload under supervision, including working independently when necessary, being responsible for one's own actions in service delivery.
- Seek support and advice from registered practitioners as needed, utilizing regular managerial and clinical supervision per Trust policies.
