Receptionist

About the Role

We are looking for a Receptionist to join our team at POST Family Resort. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing guest interactions at the front desk, handling reservations, and ensuring customer satisfaction during their stay.

Primary Responsibilities

• Proactively selling our rooms and special offers over the phone.
• Managing guest check-in and check-out procedures along with invoice verification.
• Handling hotel correspondence professionally and promptly.
• Accepting and processing reservation requests efficiently.
• Engaging in active up-selling and cross-selling techniques to enhance guest experience and sales.
• Providing attentive on-site guest support and service.

Candidate Profile

• Successfully completed vocational training or equivalent professional education.
• Proficient computer skills including MS Office, internet navigation, Outlook; familiarity with the hotel software Gastrodat considered advantageous.
• Excellent references from previous employers.
• Passion for hospitality with a confident and professional demeanor.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and a well-groomed, authentic presentation.
• Ability to work independently and take on responsibilities proactively.
• Strong command of German and English languages.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and adaptable to changing work demands.
