ACCEL International – Ajyal Center, located in Al Ahsa, Eastern Saudi Arabia, is a distinguished institution dedicated to providing educational and rehabilitation services for children with disabilities. Supported by Aramco, the center meets stringent international standards, delivering specialized and advanced programs tailored to cater to the unique needs of each child. It is the only center of its kind in Saudi Arabia, integrating specialized education, therapy, and rehabilitation based on the ACCEL Model which emphasizes early intervention, personalized learning, and comprehensive development. The center’s multidisciplinary team consists of PhD-level psychologists, therapists, and educators committed to achieving transformative results in academic, behavioral, and social dimensions, empowering children to maximize their potential and live more independent, fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct psychological assessments for referred students using relevant tests and diagnostic tools to determine eligibility and appropriate placement for special education services.
• Collaborate with teachers and the multidisciplinary team to support the design of academic and behavioral programs suited to student needs.
• Deliver training to staff on methodologies aligned with the ACCEL Model Classroom Program.
• Coordinate with administrators and staff for the effective operation and adherence to ACCEL International school policies.
• Perform clinical interviews to gather detailed medical, family, and psychosocial histories.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and develop intervention plans using psycho-educational standardized assessments for students aged 3 to 18 with varying developmental disabilities and severity.
• Assess student performance, lead eligibility discussions, and actively participate in multidisciplinary Individualized Education Plan (IEP) meetings and their implementation.
• Support specialists and teachers in accelerating student development progress.
• Contribute to the development of student IEPs and conduct counseling sessions both individually and with families.
• Ensure compliance with ACCEL International's education policies in Saudi Arabia.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Master’s degree in School Psychology or Clinical Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Professional licensure issued by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties is mandatory.
• A minimum of five years' post-graduate experience in School or Clinical Psychology, including proficiency in administering standardized assessments, diagnosis, and counseling.
• Fluency in both Arabic and English is required.
