About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Lead transportation and civil infrastructure projects from initial planning and scoping stages through to successful delivery.
- Develop project briefs, fee estimates, delivery plans, reports, tender, and contract documentation.
- Oversee budgets, forecasting, risk assessments, reporting, invoicing, and commercial project performance.
- Coordinate efforts of clients, contractors, consultants, and internal teams to ensure timely, quality outcomes within budget.
- Support contract management processes, including contractor performance reviews, schedule updates, and adherence to NZS 3910 standards.
- Foster strong client relationships and contribute to tender submissions, service offers, and future work opportunities.
Candidate Profile
- Holds a relevant tertiary qualification in civil engineering or a related discipline.
- Brings a minimum of five years professional civil engineering experience focused on transportation, roading, or associated infrastructure projects.
- Experience working with local authority or central government roading contracts is beneficial.
- Knowledgeable of NZS 3910 General Conditions of Contract.
- Demonstrates strong project management capabilities, including scope, scheduling, budgeting, risk management, reporting, and stakeholder engagement.
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with a collaborative, client-oriented mindset.
- Possession of a current full and clean New Zealand Driver's License.
